Sharing the Joy of Purim with Israel’s Defenders

Bringing the Holiday spirit to IDF Soldiers on the Frontlines

Chamah brought the spirit of Purim to IDF soldiers stationed across Israel, delivering special Shalach Manos gift packages to brighten their holiday.

Purim is a joyous Jewish holiday celebrating the survival of the Jewish people from Haman’s plot, as recounted in the Book of Esther. The day is marked by reading the Megillah (the story of Purim), giving charity to those in need, enjoying a festive meal, and sharing Shalach Manos—gifts of food exchanged among friends to foster unity and joy.

These courageous men and women stand at the frontlines, tirelessly safeguarding Israel’s borders against threats. Amid their demanding service, Chamah’s visits offer a heartfelt reminder that they are valued, supported, and deeply appreciated by their community. ■
