Two day vacation for seventy Chamah day-care staff members
As the Chamah day-care centers in Israel are on a brief summer break, this was a wonderful opportunity to express our gratitude and appreciation to the seventy members of the staff for their devoted and professional care of the children, and they were treated to a two day retreat at a hotel in center of Jerusalem.
An assortment of confectionaries were thoughtfully prepared to welcome them to the start of the program. The itinerary encompassed a series of intellectually stimulating enrichment workshops. Subsequently, the staff was invited to partake in a lighthearted and amusing stand-up comedy performance. Following a delectable dinner, participants embarked on a leisurely sojourn to immerse themselves in the atmosphere of the holy city of Jerusalem, culminating in a contemplative moment of prayer at the Kotel. The day culminated with a beautiful sound & light show at the Tower of David. The next day opened with morning prayers and a nourishing breakfast followed by additional enjoyable programs.
This brief retreat was a well-earned respite, acknowledging the invaluable contributions of these dedicated day-care workers. Their commitment to nurturing and guiding young children not only enriches the lives of these budding minds but also affords parents of families in need the opportunity to go out and work and provide for their families.
