An Update from Israel
Life in Israel under ongoing missile and drone attacks from Iran
Our hearts and minds remain firmly with our brothers and sisters in Israel. We continue to hope and pray for a swift, decisive victory and a lasting end to the conflict.

Israel remains on high alert. Residents have been instructed by the Home Front Command of Israel Defence Forces to stay close to protected spaces and limit non-essential activity. Schools and workspaces are closed. Families are repeatedly interrupted during the night by warning sirens and must rush to shelters as missile and drone attacks continue from Iran, affecting millions of civilian across Israel. Daily routines have been disrupted, and communities are adapting to an ongoing state of emergency.

Thankfully, there have been no attacks in Kiryat Malachi, the town in Israel where our main center is located. Tragically, other areas in Israel suffered direct hits, with people killed and injured. Our thoughts and prayers are with all the families and communities impacted.
One of our directors in Israel shared with us a screenshot from his Home Front Command app, which displays alerts and other instructions. (See image below, along with a translation from Hebrew.)

As we look forward to the upcoming Passover holiday in a few weeks, we hope to be able to hold our communal Seder event for those in need. But at the same time, we are closely monitoring the conditions and following instructions from the Home Front Command of the Israel Defense Forces. We are getting ready to pivot and implement pre-arranged alternatives if necessary. Our priority is ensuring that those in need will be able to properly celebrate the Passover holiday.
As we prepare for the upcoming Passover holiday, we are also focused on urgent day-to-day needs. Among our current emergency efforts are the delivery of food packages to vulnerable individuals and elderly in need, as well as providing activity kits for school children to use at home while schools remain closed due to the war.
