Healing Hearts: Chamah and the IFCJ's Joint Efforts for the Needy
Two organizations join hands to create a positive impact in the lives of our most vulnerable members of society

With their generous support, The International Fellowship of Christians and Jews has empowered Chamah to be their feet on the ground, sustaining thousands of elderly ill and needy and greatly enhancing the lives of children with special needs.
Programs for the Elderly
The programs for the elderly ensure that our senior population is not left to struggle alone in these trying times, when the high rate of inflation has made even basic necessities out of their reach. Fresh, nutritious meals are lovingly prepared daily in our soup kitchen and delivered to their doorsteps, averting malnutrition and filling their hearts with warmth and comfort.
For many homebound elderly this is their only hot, freshly prepared meal of the day and a chance to see a friendly face, reminding them that they are valued and cared for and have not been forgotten. Lifesaving medication and medical supplies are also delivered to their homes, and doctors and nurses make home visits, treating the ill and monitoring their heath. And each year as the winter approaches, warm clothing and heaters are distributed, keeping them warm during the long, harsh Russian winter.

Programs for Children
The IFCJ is also devoted to nurturing and providing support for children with special needs. These young souls, who face unique physical and cognitive challenges, are treated by caring professionals who tailor therapies to each child’s specific needs. Education, therapy, and counseling enable these children to reach their full potential. For their families and caregivers, it's a source of solace to know that they have an extended family at Chamah, working to create a brighter future for their children.
The caring and unwavering dedication of the IFCJ is a life changer for thousands of our most vulnerable brethren. Together, Chamah and the IFCJ, remind us all of the collective responsibility we share to uplift one another and to do our part in making a positive change in the world.
