Affordable Footwear for Growing Children and Teens in Israel
Hundreds of pairs distributed at subsidized cost to ease financial strain on local families
A recent shoe distribution at the Chamah Center in Kiryat Malachi brought hundreds of pairs of shoes for children, teens, and adults into the hands of local families. Each pair was made available for just ₪25, approximately $8, a fraction of standard retail cost in Israel.

For families with several growing children, shoes are a recurring and unavoidable expense. Children outgrow them quickly, often needing replacements once or twice a year. When that cost is multiplied across three, four, or five children, even basic footwear places real pressure on a household budget.
This distribution eased that pressure in a direct and practical way. Parents were able to choose properly fitting, dignified footwear for their children without having to decide which child could wait and which could not. ■
