Passover programs in Moscow and Moldova
Holiday programs for local families and the elderly in Russia, and in Moldova, assistance for Ukrainian refugees
At the Chamah Center in Moscow, Passover was celebrated with warmth and togetherness. On the first two nights of the holiday, communal Seder events brought people together to relive the story of freedom and share the traditions of the evening.

Throughout the eight days of the holiday, additional festive meals were prepared, ensuring that everyone could experience the joy and dignity of the season. Special programs and activities were arranged for children and families in the local community, filling the holiday with learning and excitement.

For many beneficiaries who are homebound or were unable to attend the Chamah Center in person, Matzah and other essential Passover foods were delivered directly to their homes, helping them to meaningfully observe the holiday traditions.
In Kishinev, Moldova — on the border with Ukraine — together with Rabbi Belenky of the local Jewish Community, Chamah is providing assistance to the many refugees who have fled the war.
For Passover, special holiday programs were held and food packages were delivered for the refugees, as well as for the local residents and the few hundred Jewish students studying in the city. ■
