In honor of the Passover holiday Chamah distributed tons of food supplies for families and individuals in need and organized communal Seder celebrations at the Chamah community center

In Israel, in honor of the Passover holiday, Chamah distributed five hundred food packages for those in need; including newly arrived immigrants, Ukrainian refugees, the elderly, and many families residing in Kiryat Malachi and southern Israel. The packages contained essential holiday items like Matzah and wine as well as chicken, fish, oil, eggs, fruits, vegetables and dry goods, Enabling beneficiaries to celebrate the Passover seder, the holiday of freedom, in the holiday spirit without incurring any additional financial burdens
Chamah also organized a Passover Seder night celebration for two hundred and fifty people, including many elderly individuals, those in need, immigrants from the the Former Soviet Union, and Ukrainian refugees who lack the means to conduct a Seder on their own. This event ensured that everyone in the community can participate in the traditional Passover Seder, fostering a sense of togetherness and ensuring that no one feels excluded during this important holiday.
In Russia, Chamah distributed 3,000 food boxes to destitute elderly individuals in need. Prior to the holiday, the seniors received a food box with groceries including chickens, fish, oil, eggs, sugar, tea/coffee, yogurt, fruits and vegetables.
Health safety measures for the elderly are in place, and they were advised to refrain from joining public holiday celebrations, so special Passover packages were distributed containing one kilo of Matzah, wine, and a Seder plate with the holiday symbols. This enabled the needy elderly to conduct a Seder night celebration at home.
