Food distribution in New York
Many essential food items were distributed to help struggling families and individuals in New York City
On Wednesday, Chamah organized a large-scale food distribution event in Brooklyn, New York. The food boxes provided included a variety of items such as fish, eggs, grape juice, fresh produce, and an assortment of grocery items.
Since the onset of COVID-19, Chamah has been organizing massive food distributions to support those in need, many of whom have lost their jobs. With the current rate of inflation rising faster than pay rates and salaries, many people are struggling to keep up and are having trouble affording basic food items. Chamah has been working tirelessly to ensure that no one goes hungry, and your continued support has been crucial in enabling us to sustain this vital work.
We extend special thanks to Rabbi Dovid & Gitel Fisher, the Met Council, and CHJCC for their invaluable support. ■
