Victory Day Event
An event for seniors was held to mark this special day, at the Chamah center in Moscow, Russia
May 9th is celebrated as Victory Day, commemorating the surrender of Nazi Germany in 1945, marking the end of World War II in Europe.
Victory Day is also a day of remembrance and gratitude for the sacrifices made during the war, honoring those who fought and died for their countries' freedom.
At the Chamah center in Russia, an event for seniors was held to mark this special day. The program featured inspiring words, music and dancing, and reminiscence from years long ago. IFCJ enhanced the event with thoughtful gifts to the participants and red flowers were distributed in memory of the fallen soldiers. ■
