Bringing Single Mothers and Their Children Together Through "Itach Balev"
Chamah recently treated mothers and their children to a special lunch outing, as part of its program for single mothers and widows in Kiryat Malkhi, Israel.

The program is called Itach Balev (אתך בלב), meaning “With You, in Heart,” and creates moments like these to give the mothers and daughters an opportunity to enjoy time together in a warm and welcoming environment, while reinforcing the knowledge that they are part of a caring community.
Itach Balev is Chamah’s ongoing program supporting single mothers and widows throughout the year through special events, gatherings, retreats, and assistance. The program provides opportunities for women to connect with others facing similar challenges, receive emotional support, and participate in activities that offer encouragement, practical tools, and a welcome respite from the pressures of daily life.
Whether through a shared meal, an uplifting gathering, or a retreat, Chamah is there to remind them that they do not have to face life’s challenges alone. ■
