High-Holidays Report

Bringing joy to thousands

During this High-Holiday season Chamah worked tirelessly to ensure that thousands of impoverished families and individuals, including many homebound seniors and Holocaust survivors, did not go hungry, and were able to experience the holiday joy.

Before the Jewish New Year holiday of Rosh Hashanah, Chamah delivered over ten thousand food packages in Israel, Russia, and the United States.

And additional distributions of holiday food packages continued throughout the month.

Due to the economic impact of the pandemic, many more people are struggling to put food on the table, and many who never asked for help before are turning to us for help to feed their families.
