Two-Day Chanukah Retreat for Families in Need
A unique holiday-themed seminar for parents and teens, fostering connection and inspiration
In honor of the Chanukah holiday, Chamah in Russia lit up the lives of many families by hosting a transformative two-day seminar for parents and their teens. Set in a peaceful retreat setting, the program offered a unique opportunity for families to come together and learn about the holiday in a meaningful way.
Participants arrived by Metro train, greeted by a Chamah-arranged bus that transported them to the serene seminar venue.
Over two enriching days, participants enjoyed a blend of educational sessions and fun recreational activities. They attended enlightening workshops and talks on Chanukah’s historical significance, crafted traditional dreidels, and experienced the warmth of community in a supportive and joyous environment.
For these families, the seminar was an opportunity to gain additional strength, build connections, and find much inspiration. The program was an exciting way for the famlies to learn more about Jewish identity and its values and traditions, deepening their sense of community and belonging. ■
