Chamah hosted a special evening for dozens of single moms–divorcees and widows–from the community. Rabbi Nissilevitch opened the evening and continued with an engaging psycho-drama workshop led by the well-known Sarit Asayag, which had active participation from the attendees. Many expressed their gratitude for the warm "hug" from Chamah, appreciating the organization's sensitivity to their challenges and the valuable support they provide.

Eighty widows participated in a transformative retreat in Israel, finding comfort, renewal, and connection. The 3-day weekend created lasting memories through their shared experiences, and all enjoyed an inspiring program. Among the participants were recently widowed women, wives of IDF soldiers who lost their lives in the Gaza war, who found comfort and support in the connections made during the retreat.

Chamah provides a fun-filled summer program with nutritious hot lunches, activities and trips, enabling working parents to go to work knowing their children are being cared for. For many, the time spent at Chamah Summer Day Camp is their only exposure to a Jewish experience, and gives them a sense of pride in being part of the Jewish Nation.
